The company was established in the year 1977, was taken over by four long-serving employees in the year 2003 and continued as WTT - Wood Treatment Technology. WTT develops and manufactures plants for industrial wood protection, vacuum drying and special plants, such as:
Vacuum dryers (optionally with smoking equipment)
Energy vacuum dryers
Thermo treatment plants
Pressure impregnation plants
Creosote impregnation plants
Fixation plants
Low-pressure impregnation plants
Hot oil plants for linseed oil impregnation.
In the field of industrial wood protection, till date more than 1000 plants have been delivered in 36 countries and serviced on a continuous basis. The manufacture and development in this highly specialized field requires trained technical personnel, corresponding experience and a very good environment for engineering.
The WTT vacuum dryer has been on the market since 1985 and more than 250 plants have been delivered in the meantime to clients all over the world for drying high value hard and softwoods. Since 2003, a new energy vacuum dryer has been available. Today, these market-acclaimed high value vacuum dryers are employed in all fields of wood drying.
Constant developments are carried out in collaboration with leading institutes, like BFA in Hamburg, the University of Freiburg, Germany and the Holzfachschule Biel, Switzerland and other institutes in Europe and Canada. The latest products from WTT include thermo treatment plants, plants for treatment with linseed oil (“hot-oil”) and the combined WTT drying/smoking plants.
